Amazon have been around for many many years. It is a very popular website where you can purchase clothes, outdoor equipment, home accessories, shoes, food and so much more. On the Amazon website you will never be disappointed. Amazon is the world's largest online retailer and a prominent cloud server provider. It originally started as an online bookselling company. Amazon has morphed into an internet-based business enterprise that is largely focused on providing e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming and artificial intelligence (AI) services. 

The company offers a monumental product range and inventory, enabling consumers to buy just about anything, including clothing, beauty supplies, gourmet food, jewelry, books, movies, electronic, pet supplies, furniture, toys, garden supplies and household goods. The headquarters are settled in Seattle. Amazon has individual websites, software development centers, customer service centers, Data centers and fulfillment centers around the world. 

In 2005, Amazon Prime became a worldwide membership-based service for its customers offering a free two-day shipping within the U.S., as well as streaming, shopping and reading benefits. According to Amazon's website the current Prime membership rates are $14.99 a month or $139 a year. 

In 2011, Amazon debuted its first tablet computer, The Kindle Fire, and the Amazon Fire TV Stick, which is apart of their line of streaming devices. We all know how the Firestick has changed our lives. It is one of the most used devices of 2024. Amazon is also responsible for the famous Alexa that was introduced in 2015. The Alexa intrudes many homes today just like the fire tv stick.

Amazon Marketplace: Amazons e-commerce platform enables third-party retailers to showcase and sell their products alongside other Amazon items. 

Amazon Fresh: Amazon's grocery pickup and delivery service is currently available in nearly two dozen U.S. cities and a few international locations. You can order from either the Amazon Fresh website or their mobile app. And customers can get their items deliver or pick them up straight from the store. 

Amazon Vine of 2007: This helps manufactures and publishers get reviews for their products which will help shoppers make informed purchases. 

Woot of 2010: Woot offers limited time offers and special deals that rotate daily. This shop features refurbished items, as well as new items. Prime members get free shipping. 

Zappos of 2009: This is their online shop that carries shoes and clothing. It includes brands like Nike, Sperry, Adidas, and Uggs. 

Merch by Amazon: This is a t-shirt printing service that allows customers to create and upload t-shirt designs for free and earn royalties on each sale. 

Amazon Handmade: This platforms enables artisans to sell handcrafted products to people all across the world. 

What is AWS?

Amazon has a very aggressive way of advertising all of their products and I don't mean that in a negative way. Amazon can make you almost buy anything. The best thing about amazon is that 'all' of the products are good quality. I personally have never received anything from the amazon website and disliked or was upset about my purchases. 

Amazon consumers can always count on a fast shipping delivery, good quality products, good quantity products, and well received orders meaning no broken or destroyed items. I personally love Amazon and will recommend buying items from their website. Their prices are very reasonable and pretty much consistent.  

Items purchased can be returned if there is an issue with size, quality or whatever the issue may concern. You have 30 days to return your item because after that it won't be accepted. There is a returns center that you will have to visit and continue the returning process from there. When you return an item you may see different return options depending on the seller, item, or reason for the return. One important factor to remember when returning an item is to never include items from multiple orders or shipments. Each return label is assigned to a specific return so always be aware. There is nothing they can do about that situation if it happens because it is printed in the returns policy.

Amazon uses social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to promote their products as well. There are many different amazon influencers that promote many different items on those platforms. But Amazon globally promotes all of its equipment in all different categories and will continue to profit from their amazing creations.
